This is extremely concerning. What the article does not detail is the nationality of the individual flagged. This is one more serious reason to be concerned about national security add stringent protocols to any immigration application, and err on the side of caution. Borders - without them, we don’t have a nation. “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” “Provide for the common defence.” The most common defence - is border security. It’s right at the beginning of our Constitution! Without security, #globaljihadists and our #enemies are here, in large numbers, and they have entered through the #southernborder. What has occurred over the last 3 1/2 years is deliberate, deliberately putting morons and non contributing zeroes in key positions - Mayorkas. Additionally, not withdrawing from the Doha Accords. Once the Taliban didn't uphold their end of the bargain, we should have never kept pressing forward with it. At a speech on Friday in Dover – the home of Natalie Elphicke, who defected to Labour this week after criticising Tory failures on border security – the Labour leader will call the government’s plan “an insult to anyone’s intelligence” and say “the gangs that run this sick trade are not easily fooled”. Create a new post of border security commander to oversee the unit, working across Europe and with multiple agencies on enforcement and intelligence. Recruit hundreds of additional special investigators, intelligence agents and cross-border police officers. Expand stop and search powers for use against those suspected of people-smuggling. Use Serious Crime Prevention Orders, enforced on terrorists pre-conviction, to shut off the bank accounts and internet access of suspected smugglers. I'd argue that border security should be one of the Guard's primary missions -- especially given the illegal immigration, human-trafficking, and drug-trafficking threats we currently face. Done properly and with the right authorities, it would provide the opportunity to exercise a bevy of combat tasks, e.g. reconnaissance, surveillance, movement to contact, air movement, air assault, raid, defend, resupply, and command-and-control to name just a few. https://lnkd.in/g5NGwEXT

Because of the open border, illegal alien criminals and terrorists are in American communities. We must allow state and local law enforcement to have all the tools necessary to find, investigate, and arrest them.
