Soon after high school, I moved from the village to Belvedere, Harare,Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 with couple bucks to sustain me for 3 months (bills). Couldn't get a job in the first month but one way or the other, I had to start generating some income or else i would end up in the streets. Right there, a new idea 💡 struck my mind, something I had never heard of before. I couldn't get a job, but, what if I can make companies hire me, even if there are no vacancies. I started emailing companies from home, telling them how I can be able to turn around their business and increase revenues within a period of 3⃣ three to 6⃣ six months, which was crazy of course because I had never done such before. Aomori Auto founder contacted me after a week and offered me a sales position but I preferred working in the field. I would come to get pictures of the new vehicles and heard back home to sit on my computer. I sold over 18 Toyota Hilux double and single cab trucks within 4 months to mines and farms and made $9,000. With a bit of some experience and testimony, on-boarding new corporate clients became a bit easier and increasingly important to my survival. I signed a few more companies in India and Turkey, the owners are still my good friends up todate. I became a commodities broker 💹 for a few Asian based companies buying from Africa 🌍 (Zimbabwe and DRC). A few years later, SOUTHERN PACIFIC GROUP. was brought to life, headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, to offer the exact same services I delivered as an individual back in 2015 up to 2020. We're also seeing a reversion to the mean. Roles with "Manager" in the title have become less popular over the last few weeks.
