Today is my last day at OGP, after over 11 years with the fantastic Support Unit team and the incredible open gov community around the world. It has been such an honour to work with so many of you, and to have made so many lifetime friends and allies through the good times and the challenging. A few weeks ago I joined our OGP staff to say goodbye. My speech to our team is now on our website, and it sums up why I think our work is even more important today than when OGP was founded in 2011. https://lnkd.in/eUJ8fsgW Tomorrow the UK votes - and whatever happens my heart will always be with the open government movement.

Such a privilege to have worked with you over the years and can only wish you the best as you take this new path in your illustrious career. Your constituents are extremely fortunate to have gained such a thoughtful and caring leader, committed to real change and transformation, with a global mindset and deeply rooted in the belief that citizens do matter and must be involved in issues and decisions that affect their lives. Congratulations once again on your Elections and Godspeed.
