Almost there! We’re thrilled for the Redmond Senior & Community Center to open this May, providing a one-of-a-kind facility that embraces both the wellbeing of the community and a healthy climate. Earning national recognition for the first-ever LEED innovation point granted by the U.S. Green Building Council for utilizing climate-resilient wood, our project team traced and verified the source of lumber for the mass plywood panels, supporting the idea that mass timber can play a key role in supporting healthy forests, a healthy climate and resilient landscapes. Hope to share the details at next year’s Mass Timber conference!
