Today, against the backdrop of Portland Community College's Rock Creek Farm, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of the new Rock Creek Barn! This new facility is demonstrative of PCC's commitment to workforce development, serving an important role for both the farm and the college's Veterinary Technology Program. Purposefully designed to seamlessly blend traditional study with hands-on learning, the barn boasts a classroom and resources for experiential training with the farm's diverse array of animals, including cattle, horses, sheep, and Tootsie the pony. Congratulations to PCC!

Nice to see this project completed! There’s always something to learn in architecture, especially when your project type involves a prefabricated agricultural building with modifications to meet the community college’s and agricultural program’s specific needs!
