I'm a proud dad today. My daughter Julia recently started The Youth Wellness Foundation, A 501C3 nonprofit dedicated to promoting mental, physical, & emotional wellness in Underserved Schools and Communities. She's raised over $20,000 so far. Yesterday, she made a donation to her school that will be used to provide mental health first aid training to give teachers at her high school the skills necessary to reach out and offer initial assistance and support to students facing mental health or substance use challenges or going through a crisis. Could potentially save some lives. I'm proud of her work and the woman she's becoming. You can follow their journey at http://youth-wellness.org. Thanks to Optimized Technical Solutions, Inc. for being their biggest supporter and being committed to making a positive impact on the communities we serve. Everyone at our company is driven by their desire to foster positive change and make a difference. I'm grateful to be a part of such an incredible team! #mentalhealth #leadership #givingback

The culture teens face has gotten so much more challenging and isolating. So much contributes to mental health, and that is the messaging I don't see enough of. Physical health, nutrition, intrapersonal intelligence, realistic goal-setting, becoming involved in supportive communities, and more.

What an amazing initiative and great work from your daughter seeing the need and putting it into action.
