This is a fast changing world. One of the components in that fast world is how quickly the world wants us to adopt electric vehicles. I'm always wondering how the power is going to get to different locations to provide that, especially in existing parking structures. One of the ways is the S-Series IP54 rated overhead busway product from Starline. It can be a time-consuming project to run the power for multiple charging stations and trying to plan for more to come can be even harder. Michigan Department of Transportation is working with Israel-based wireless charging solutions provider Electreon, in piloting dynamic wireless charging for EVs in the United States. Testing for wireless charging has already started in Europe. Wireless charging can happen in two ways: Static charging through charging pads when the vehicle is parked over them or dynamic charging which allows EV charging when the vehicle is being driven, idled, or parked! Dynamic charging addresses the problems of range anxiety and EV costs as the vehicles can then be built with smaller batteries as the vehicle will be charged while on the move!

I was surprised to learn there are 250,000 electric buses worldwide - that's significant! EV FireSafe confirms 27 battery fires in 14 years caused by thermal runaway.
