To be engaged and more informed about our industry, and to help serve people at Lott to the best of my ability.   How did you get started in our field of work? God’s direction and I obeyed.   What's your dream for Ohioans with disabilities? To be able to enjoy their lives without all the restrictions, guidelines, and rules that regulate their daily lives.   What's one thing you'd like the OPRA Community to know about you? I love serving people in this industry and would love to see them freed from over-regulation.

Please share with in your network. Bussness are networking all the time for personal gain and insight. Help move the insight we have as providers, caregivers, family's and most importantly services recipients into the mindset of Bussness and Legislatures who understanbly don't know becuse there not living it. On our own we are a powerful number, by engaging with our personal networks and letting them know that there are systemic funding needs, and profound service changes going on we can get back to getting back to the work of service providers.

Celebrating 50 years of services, Children's Services of Roxbury, Inc. (CSR) is one of Massachusetts' largest Black-run nonprofit organizations. Its leadership, staff, and board members are predominantly Black, which is an important representation of black excellence and empowerment in the Greater Boston community. By providing essential services and support to children and families, particularly those from underserved communities, CSR is actively addressing the systemic disparities and challenges. This month, CSR will host the ROXTalks series of community conversations on "Forging One Boston" to transform the social and economic health of communities of color across the Commonwealth and break the cycle of systemic racism for future generations. During this episode, CSR's President & CEO, Sandra McCroom, will lead the conversation with Michael Curry, Esq. and Kevin M. At MSDC, we don't just teach our people how to weed the garden (i.e., handle the bad stuff). We also teach them how to grow their garden (i.e., celebrate the good stuff). So, after a session of weeding the courtyard the other day, our Jobs Club folks learned about plants from the wonderful Martha from Flowers on Redwood.
