Scouting notes: #2 A lot of showcase organisers do not do prepare properly or do their research on the scout/club they are inviting. Linked to the previous post, it's key to know that type of players you have. Knowing this will help you to focus on which clubs/leagues would be a suitable fit. Make sure you have looked at the squad make up of the team you are inviting to be sure that there is a space for your players and additionally try to research their recent transfer history to give you a better idea of what they are looking for. When you are hosting the showcase make sure you provide clear team sheets with ages, positions and shirt numbers. Videos are likely to be requested for identified players so make sure you have them and you are filming the showcase event. Additionally make sure players have passports ready so that there is no delay in visa process. As part of your research make sure you know about foreign player quotas in the league and as much information about the visa process as possible. Transfers move quick so if you are not able to keep up then attention will go to another option
