Thanks Grupo Cador for the opportunity to share our experience in the evaluation and repositioning of assets through the application of sustainability strategies and use of technological tools.

During the design of the European Library of Information and Culture (BEIC) by Baukuh and Onsite Studio, atmos lab delved deep into the issue of air pollution in Milan to explore the viability of natural ventilation strategies. Despite Milan's status as one of Europe's most polluted cities, our study revealed that major pollutant concentrations consistently remain below recommended thresholds during the season suitable for natural ventilation implementation (from April to September) with significant downward trends in recent years, supporting the safe adoption of natural ventilation. This comprehensive study, including analyses on the practical implementation of natural ventilation and its impact on energy efficiency, was presented last week at the 37th PLEA Conference on Sustainable Architecture and Urban Design in Wrocław. Paimio Sanatorium was conceived to be the most advanced and forward-looking medical instrument of its time. Aino and Alvar Aalto's radical collaboration between architects, master craftsmen, medical researchers, and the forces of nature made the project a unique example of healing architecture. The Paimio Sanatorium Foundation (2020) sees that the human perspective of Aalto's needs to remain as a guideline for the future. The lines between hospitality and hospital have become blurred. There is also a comprehensive shift from 'wellness,' an individually focused concept, to 'wellbeing,' a more holistic vision that touches all people and societies. There is a need for a new interpretation of sanatoriums, and there is great momentum for the Nordic hospitality sector to truly believe in its strengths. Old buildings made new: kickoff meeting of the project #FuturHist 🏰 Historic buildings are a common feature of our cities and rural areas. Their #aesthetical preservation is important, but so is #energy preservation. Transnatural's Well Proven stools are part of the MoMA exhibition Life Cycles till July 7th, 2024. Organized by Paola Antonelli, Senior Curator, and Maya Ellerkmann, Curatorial Assistant. The stools are designed by Marjan van Aubel and James Shaw (and part of the permanent collection as well). The show's statement: "Any act of good design must also be an act of empathy, respect, and responsibility toward all living organisms and ecosystems––as well as future generations. By translating scientific, technological, and social revolutions into objects and behaviors, design can be an agent of positive change and play a crucial part in restoring the fragile ties between humans and the rest of nature. Life Cycles: The Materials of Contemporary Design explores the regenerative power of design as it shifts its focus towards a more collaborative rapport with the natural world. Next Monday, RedeMov of the Universidade de Lisboa is organizing the "Airports Decarbonization and Sustainability Challenges" Conference, as part of the "Conversas à Sexta " Conference Cycle, with Xibei Jia, PhD student at CiTUA - Territory, Urbanism, and Architecture, as the speaker. Date: April 22,  Time: 17:00 Location: TTC@ULisboa Auditorium Conference Framework: The study addresses airports' main challenges in reducing their environmental impact. A comparative analysis of 150 airports and methodologies was carried out to assess the potential impact of alternative solutions for the different components of the airport that contribute to the overall impact of the infrastructure.
