One of the big thematic opportunities we see in the next 10 years at Oxeon is to address the root cause problems that have prevented value-based care from delivering on its promise as quickly as society needs. We see the opportunity to tackle these problems by betting on courageous leadership, building companies where gaps are not being addressed, and investing in entrepreneurs who have a big vision and a unique insight. With the launch of UpDoc, Sharif Vakili and Ashwin Nayak make it easier for clinicians to do the work they want to do: in this case to help their patients stay adherent to their medications. As doctors and technologists, they are uniquely positioned to tackle an important problem at the most exciting time in AI development.
