Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s Post

On June 27, Pacific Gas and Electric Company held a #wildfiresafety open house in #BoulderCreek to inform customers about Enhanced Powerline Safety Settings (EPSS), outages in their #community, #reliability improvements, #affordability and customer resources.   PG&E is listening to #customer feedback across our service area to help understand how we can continue to improve #wildfireprevention efforts, including EPSS and the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Program. PG&E Vice President Teresa Alvarado, South Bay & Central Coast Region, and PG&E subject matter experts were on hand to answer questions from 29 customers who were mainly interested in backup power solutions. Customers were informed of the backup power programs available to help keep the power on when hazards impact electric service in their community.

Thoughtful open house & dialogue.
