MENTOR, the Municipality of Eleusis, 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture and the Universities of the Aegean and Patras participate together with 10 other partners from Italy, Ireland, Spain and Belgium in the European project HeritACT. The 3-year project is implemented in the framework of #Horizon Europe and is based on the principles of #NewEuropeanBauhaus. During HeritACT, pilot participatory actions are being carried out in #Eleusis, #Milan and #Ballina. The aim is to implement innovative and inclusive design solutions, as well as cultural practices, through the participation of local communities. In Eleusis, 5 cultural heritage sites are activated, as well as the surrounding neighbourhoods: Old Soap Factory (Paleó Eleourgío), Iris, the Canteen (Anapsiktírio) at the city’s waterfront, the Eleusis Cultural Multi-site, and the outdoor space of the Oasis.
