First Semester Milestone for Private Equity Mid-Market in Italy 💵The first half of the year marked a record with 196 deals, slightly up from 194 in the same period last year according to the studies made by the LIUC - Università Cattaneo's Pem Observatory. June alone saw 38 deals, compared to 30 in 2023, making it the best first semester in the Observatory's 20+ year history.   💡Key insights: - 78% of deals were buyouts, up from 75%. - Infrastructure deals rose to 12%. - Northern Italy remains the focal point, with Lombardy leading at 33%. - International investments in Italian companies were 52% of total deals.
