Silver at an 11-year high after a major breakout on good volume on May 17, 2024. While silver has made a 4-year cup chart pattern from 2020 until today, there is a larger 13-year cup in formation from 2011 until today (not visible from this log graph, use a non-log graph). The right side of that cup could form relatively rapidly (in as little as 6 months) taking silver's price to around 50. However long it takes, silver's target price is around 50 (its approximate high in 1980 and 2011). It will need to form a handle to the larger cup at that point before breaking out to new all-time highs. Likely targets after that are 90, and then 130.
