🏆 Southern Exposure
The game of golf is red hot in North Texas, service standards are being elevated daily, and you can't get ahead in today's competitive marketplace without a definitive plan to follow.
The entities I'm engaging with will have a strong sense of where they've been, where they reside in the game today, and a solid idea of where we’ll need to be together in 3 to 5 years.
They’ll also possess:
• A Mission Statement for teams to follow.
• Accounts of recent facility growth to maintain and reflect on for the future.
• Opportunities for national and professional advancement.
Did you know that you can make a career out of golf and get your business degree at the same time? That's right! But don't ask us about it. Ask Brayden Kelley, a Senior in the PGA Golf Management Program at University of Colorado Colorado Springs, about his experience and turn your passion into a career. #WeLoveThisGame

I was waiting for this session for about two weeks but unfortunately, I missed it. The topic was interesting to me because it would have allowed me to hear some other opinions from a different audience/ experts. In 2018 I conducted a research paper about (Postgraduate learners’ perceptions of factors that support their autonomous motivation to learn in online contexts), when I did my 1st master's degree in New Zealand. I used the self-determination theory as the analytical framework to explore the factors perceived by online learners as supportive of their autonomous motivation to learn in online environments at a postgraduate level.
The semi-structured interview findings that emerged from the inductive thematic analysis indicated that factors perceived as supportive of learners’ psychological needs for autonomy, competence, and relatedness, are more likely to enhance online learners’ autonomous motivation and promote the process of internalization allowing more self-determined types of extrinsic motivation to exist.
Anyway, if anyone is interested, there is a copy of my research in my profile here on Linkedin if you want to check it out.
Thanks, Dr. Miranda for keeping doing these kinds of interesting workshops and sessions.

Stevie Kidd Recruitment strategy - what he said to new members of the team..
The biggest compliment I can give you is the company employed you, now look on my wall in my creative room, not the board room, the creative room, yes what you see up on that wall is all my role models and yes that's sir Alex Ferguson in the centre. So I have never met Sir Alex, however I have followed Sir Alex since age of 12, he is my anchor and sets baseline for my standards I set everyday. He has expectations and I RELFECT THEM BACK ON ME AND ASK WHATS BEYOND THAT..
So my message is you have to deliver above the line every single day and be better and better each day but be you in this business.. NO ONE IS BIGGER THAN THIS BRAND NOT EVEN ME, but what I am asking is can you be this person who delivers to the highest of standards everyday , not for me but for you as its what you demand of yourself everyday.... and as I TURNED AROUND I would look at new member of the team and say, do you understand, response , 100% they would say... secret I would say is find your role model who sets your baseline
In that moment we then signed the one attitude policy. I would say sir Alex is my role model, I now must be role model for other people around the world , and I WOULD SAY we will develop you as long as you turn up each day as you'll end up being role model for many other people ....its about raising and maintaining standards with a fantastic set of values, its called a ripple affect.... and remember our standard is to be a fantastic human being....
As that's the standards... the added value for me is all my life I HAVE INDUCTED PEOPLE INTO BUSINESS UNDER A 16 WEEK INDUCTION ACADEMY USING ROLE MODELS AS PART OF DISCOVERING YOUR OWN HUAMN POTENTIAL..
WHO AM I ?
WHO ARE YOU ?
WHO WILL I BECOME ?
WHO CAN I BECOME ?
WITH ROLE MODELS WHO CAN I REALLY BECOME NOW?
Loved this vide Gary Neville
Sir Alex used to say to his players not to worry about their talent or skill because he’d chosen them to be there, which meant they had the talent and skill needed to be at Manchester United.
All he wanted in return was for them to work as hard as they could, to never give in, and to come back the next day and do it again.
