We recently closed on Clay & Tiffany, a beautiful vintage connected two-building asset near PSU in downtown Portland. Step inside BrookLand, a new 166-unit-mixed-use #housing development designed to restore connections to #nature while promoting the health and wellness of its residents by providing abundant fresh air, views, and plant life in the building. Located in Southeast Portland’s Brooklyn neighborhood, the new 5-story building’s organization centers around two outdoor courtyards lined with exterior walkways, allowing most units to have light and fresh air penetrate two sides. The #courtyards act as “front yards,” featuring seating areas, planters, and vine trellis-lined walkways. These courtyards extend arms outward toward the building perimeter, creating terraces with opportunities for views and providing unique moments in the building façade. Many of my clients start the New Year off with big aspirations of change for their organizations.
