We are thrilled to announce that Reform Radiology are now offering new molecular imaging | nuclear medicine services and improving imaging and treatment access to patients in the South Island. This cutting-edge PET/CT and SPECT/CT technology will enhance our diagnostic capabilities and provide patients with the highest level of care.
Yesterday, we celebrated the official opening of Reform Radiology’s new Molecular Imaging & Therapy Centre in Christchurch. We were honoured to have Reform Radiology’s kaumātua and Health NZ’s Director of Consumer Engagement and Whānau Voice, Hector Matthews, present to perform the opening karakia. This purpose-built facility houses an advanced digital PET/CT and the first community Nuclear Medicine SPECT/CT scanner in the South Island. Our centre is dedicated to providing cutting-edge imaging diagnostics and innovative treatments, including radioligand therapy for prostate and neuroendocrine cancers. In their speeches, Reform Radiology General Manager Paul Mouthaan, Board Chair David Barker, and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Joel Dunn, highlighted the significant enhancement to local health services and patient outcomes brought by this clinic. We look forward to serving the people of Te Waipounamu/South Island. #Christchurch #NZ #Radiology #PETCT #NuclearMedicine #PatientCare
