More evidence that independent practice physicians deliver higher quality, lower cost care, this time specifically in gastroenterology. This study from highly respected researchers should be eye opening to policymakers and the national media alike, and should help to inform policy decisions about healthcare financing from the federal government. At the American Independent Medical Practice Association, we are working to protect and promote the independent model of medical practice for the benefit of our patients and our healthcare system.
