A request from a potential buyer: a beautiful convertible in white with a tan top and light tan interior, and a bad-ass stereo system to target middle-aged females. MB, BMW, Audi need not reply. The buyer is looking for a car with no absurd repair costs. The buyer wonders why this hasn't been done yet. Why did Lexus and Infiniti stop making them? (Note that Lexus has a $100k+ one, but that's not feasible for the buyer.) Car peeps, please explain!

Interesting.. the biggest difference between Honda and Acura that I notice.. besides priemium interior.. is that Honda switched from the double wishbone race inspired suspension… I enjoyed all of my Acura and Honda Models through the years. However, my favorite ended up being the ugly 2003 wounded Saub looking accord. The later squared backversion looks a lot better.. I have 2 Accords (2003 4D EXL 2.4L, and a 2D LX 2.4L) of these Accords.. over 285,000 miles on each. They get about 31 MPG.. They run like new and steer like a race car or an Acura TL. Everything works on both.

3wAt the high end the whole Toyota philosophy and approach does not work well. When you go above 200 grand per you need a personnel relationship with the buyer and dealership and a bespoke customer ordering system. A shame as it was a great vehicle but also a warning to Lexus about the dangers of the really high end segments. Another reason the Century (a great vehicle) would not work outside of Japan.
