Without historical significance, modern building design might not receive Grade listings. Contemporary structures often lack the time-tested stories that define historical landmarks. While they showcase innovation, their eligibility for Grade listings hinges on future cultural impact. History enriches architecture; without it, modern designs may not garner the same preservation attention. do you want to read more? click on the link below https://buff.ly/3uFNazb Reach out through DMs for tailored professional advice, and together, let's transform your vision into a stunning reality. So often we hear from the public that "tall buildings are ugly and lack character" - well, they might have a point. My team and I are quite obsessed with this question and how to create tall buildings that are financially feasible but are beautiful and full of character at the same time, as we can't overcome the housing crisis without tall buildings. Join Mohcine Sadiq and I as we share with you our philosophy and design for a 2-tower complex. #architecture, #architects, #housingcrisis, #urbandesign, #tower #realestate

Subtle Architecture As a rule, we are driven by a desire to see architecture and construction produced faster to meet an increasingly challenging need for sufficient housing, healthcare and public spaces. Then, we see something simple and sublime that offers an alternative. Commonbond Architects in Sheffield and London still uses hand-sketched drawings and physical models. They work closely with their customers to craft spaces that fit comfortably and cleanly. Ironically, this enables them to consider materials like timber and hempcrete, which we believe at scale have promise to dramatically reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and reduce our carbon footprint. It reminds us that the general belief in the need for digitalization in design does not replace the need for an understanding of the physicality of the medium. https://loom.ly/4K_cUm8 #architecture #desigh #housing Ben Harris-Hutton Graham Mateer
