We must NOT allow our highest levels of “scholarly knowledge” and intellect to permit our minds to lead us from what our hearts know to be true- to lead us away from what it means to be human and connected to have empathy and compassion at the mere commonality of being human. This video of a Colombia professor’s battle cry against pro-terror sentiment is terrifying. It reveals the sentiments that have been allowed to become vocalized on college campuses - those of pro terror in the name of “resistance.” No matter one’s political view, ethnic or cultural affiliation, or religious lens, barbaric acts of terror to the innocent and most vulnerable are NEVER justified. Yet, they are driven by ideology that is accepted as an “acceptable viewpoint.” (How soon we as humanity seem to forget what dark paths this ideology has led human history. Cue the most “intelligent” among the Nazi ranks, and the darkest period in modern human history.) Thank you Shai Davidai for your battle cry for truth. We desperately need your message.
