Excited to share the incredible partnership between Peach State Health Plan, Centene Corporation Foundation, Augusta University, Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. The expanded partnership will bring doctors and dentists to underserved areas across Georgia, helping more patients have access to a healthier tomorrow.
Peach State Health Plan and the Centene Corporation Foundation are excited to announce the latest commitment to our partners at Augusta University and the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, as well as our newest partner – The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. This $2.2 million commitment will support the Medical College of Georgia’s 3+ Primary Care and Peach State Scholars Program, a student loan forgiveness program that puts more doctors in rural and underserved areas. A portion will also be used to launch a similar program at the Dental College of Georgia to help place dentists in areas of the state where they are needed most.
