What are the Educational, Health, or Economic Benefits to these Players and their Families for that kids uncompensated participation in any additional “NON-SCHOLARSHIP” private third-party postseason football games that pay the Universities and the Conferences for the use of their free labor to put on these highly profitable Bowl events. The answer is ZERO! These additional 1-5 POSTSEASON games are also above the Players’ 12 game athletic scholarship agreement? Our Proposal offers Major Benefits in all three Categories to the Players and their Families! Scholarship Football Players are owed Hundreds of Millions of dollars from this year’s Media contract that uses these Players’ Name, Image, and Likeness NIL without any equitable financial consideration to the Players or their Families! This lost Money could have a major impact on these Players lives, the lives of their current and future family members for generations? We do not support, or agree with the House vs NCAA Settlement or the current covert attempts to extend and expand this Antitrust exploitation of our young (mostly minority) FB & BB Players' labor that the US Supreme Court and Federal District Court have recently struck down as illegal and implausible.
Had an amazing time this past weekend in Tahoe at the American Century Championship! It was an honor to compete alongside so many incredible athletes and celebrities. Thank you to everyone involved in organizing the event and to all the fans who came out to support. Looking forward to next year already!

Fined for a kiss?! Julien Bernard stopped for a special moment during the Stage 7 time trial of Tour de France 2024 and gave his wife a quick kiss. He was later fined 200CHF ($223 USD) for "unseemly or inappropriate behavior during the race and damage to the image of the sport" by UCI, the professional cycling governing body. Usually, fines are imposed for being pulled by cars, receiving food or throwing bottles outside designated areas, or not wearing a helmet. Balancing rules with empathy, maintaining consistency in enforcement, and recognizing the human element in professional settings are crucial for building a positive and productive workplace culture. Proportional penalties and transparent communication are key to building trust and respect within any organization. #Leadership #Empathy https://lnkd.in/d3Zm58k8

Here is my review of the Monaco Grand Prix 2024!

The Monaco Grand Prix stands out from other Formula 1 races on the calendar due to its unique characteristics. This historic track features narrow streets that pose a challenge, yet much of the excitement surrounding the event extends beyond the actual races. Why is Monaco so wealthy? Simply put, the key to Monaco’s wealth lies in its tax system. With no income tax, capital gains tax, or real estate tax, the region has become a magnet for the super-rich. Apart from the tax benefits, Monaco’s appealing attributes such as a pleasant climate, central European location, and prestigious events make it a playground for those with extravagant lifestyles. Who resides in Monaco? Many current F1 drivers call Monaco home, including Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, and Charles Leclerc, who is not just a resident but also a citizen. The list of residents extends to celebrities from various fields like Bono, Novak Djokovic, and Ringo Starr. What is the cost of living in Monaco? With limited space and an average price of €50,000 per square meter, Monaco boasts some of the world’s most expensive real estate. For visitors attending the race weekend, expenses soar. Yacht berths at Port Hercule can cost up to €3,500 per day, with exclusive spots commanding up to €100,000 for five days. Spectators without grandstand tickets can opt for private terraces overlooking the track, with prices reaching as high as €5,000 for Saturday and Sunday access. How does the money flow during the race weekend? Monaco’s local economy sees a significant boost during the race week, with a reported €102 million influx, of which €68 million is spent in the final four days. Hotels, yachting berths, nightclubs, and restaurants all benefit from the surge in spending. Despite the substantial economic impact, Monaco pays little to host the event compared to other locations. While the exact fee remains undisclosed, it is speculated to be minimal, with Monaco retaining a vast majority of the economic gains from the race. https://lnkd.in/grMrbKJf

Victories are savored like fine wine. Losses sting like sharp fromage. Suspense hangs in the air like drying charcuterie. Huge mountain climbs, thrilling sprints, nail-biting descents, and unforeseen obstacles add a layer of complexity. Le Tour is both an athletic and culinary masterpiece. These essential pieces of sports nutrition are what set the stage and bolster the riders’ performances day in and day out. Here is a breakdown of what Tour de France riders eat while racing by team: https://lnkd.in/gXQFzZVs

If you’re in the logistics industry, you might know the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix in Melbourne is the most logistically complicated sporting event in the world 🏎 2 weeks prior to the Australian F1, after the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the teams pack up their kits and 10 – that's right 10 - dedicated DHL Boeing 777 freighters fly the 13,000 odd kilometres to Melbourne’s Avalon airport. 🛬 For most other F1 events it’s “only” 5 777s, but the F2 and F3 championships are racing too, so the whole gang is in town. 🏎 🏎 🏎️ The planes are carrying a lazy 1,000 tonnes of cargo. But that’s only the “essential” stuff, including 20 F1 cars and 56 F2/F3 vehicles. The cars are all disassembled into their 5,000 component parts...Umm, someone please remind me to buy bubble wrap shares. 🙋🏼♀️ The non-essential stuff, like 15,000 items of furniture, have just arrived on a container ship that left Europe in January. That’s 120 odd containers weighing another 1,250 tonnes or so. And if you’re into maths, the 1-2 weeks between F1 events means that, yes, there are multiple ships, carrying identical kits, in transit to other F1 destinations at the same time. 🚢 🚢 🚢 In the 4 weeks leading up to the event, there's another 100 semi-trailer loads of equipment on the move, including: 🏎 Racetrack equipment 🏎 Temporary grandstands 🏎 Marquees That’s another 19,0000 tonnes or so – also creating 2,500 temporary jobs – and making it a nightmare to find drivers for other work! EY (commissioned by the Victorian Govt.) estimated $268 million in economic benefit to the state in 2023 coming from close to 445,000 spectators comprising: 👨👩👧👦 - 365,000 Victorians 👨👩👧👦 - 80,000 from interstate & overseas There are a lot of wheels turning to make the F1 happen. 🏎️

With the Formula 1 2023 season coming to a close this weekend in Abu Dhabi and after being fortunate enough to attend 3 Grand Prix weekends this year I couldn't stop thinking about these 3 things 1.- The logistical challenge F1 means is something amazing if you think of it, moving many 787 planes around the world with cars, spares, tools, tires and equipment in general is something that you don't see anywhere else, it's easy to turn the TV on and watch the cars on track at Abu Dhabi and just ignore the fact that all of those people and things were racing in the other side of the world at Las Vegas less than a week ago. 2.- The pressure to perform and evolve is something we also forget, these people (Drivers, engineers, and team members in general) have to endure jet lag, long flights, long nights at work and still need to be fit, healthy and ready to perform at their 110%. 3.- Home is where the heart is and although a Grand Prix weekend is an amazing place to be in, I bet many people inside F1 really miss their homes and families once in a while, I know we're all going to miss F1 in this winter break, but I'm happy to know that all of the people that make F1 happen are finally having a well deserved rest. This is in great part why I believe F1 in Schools North America is an amazing opportunity for kids to start developing high value skills like building a whole team from nothing, work as one, pay attention to details and many more so they can perform and become better people, all of this before stepping into university. Hopefully, this challenge will help many young talented people start crafting their careers as future F1 key staff. I hope this helps you view F1 as not just an amazing sport, but as a very big and complex challenge for everyone involved, as well as admiring what love for your craft can do!
