My take homes were: 👥 Consumer-Led Change: Consumers driving healthcare transformation is crucial. Lived Experience is critical for positive change within this rapidly evolving healthcare system 🤖 AI in Medicine: AI is already here... There are immense opportunities, BUT also significant risks for use by clinical care teams, triage systems and decision without #outcome informed #generativeAI tech, proper standards, and regulations. 🌐 Embracing Virtual Care: Virtual hospitals, EDs, and hospital-at-home models are rising, and really are essential for a sustainable health system in Australia. Exciting to see innovations like the #calvarymedibankjointventure Virtual Hospital. 🚪 Digital Front Door: Accessibility is key. Australians need an easy path to find the right care when they need it. Simplifying access for quality healthcare is vital through digital technologies this is being achieved but can be better!
