Losing a loved one who served in the military is tough. Besides dealing with emotions, there are financial worries too. But can the spouse get help from the VA after their partner passes away? The short answer is yes, but it's not as simple as it sounds. The VA offers something called the Survivor's Pension. It's money given every month to spouses and dependents of veterans who meet certain conditions set by Congress. These conditions include limits on how much money you can have and still qualify for the pension.
