If you like reading stats checkout the below from our most recent PAK'nSAVE 2 week campaign for the local Social Supermarket. - $10,975 paid forward - 2,989 acts of generosity - 439 people impacted 85% of consumers chose a pre selected amount. - 47% donated 1% of their basket size - $2,382 - 22% donated 2% of their basket size - $2,178 - 16% donated 5% of their basket size - $2,986 Although this is super impressive it was encouraging to see that - 15% of consumers chose to select their own amount which came to $3,413 (31% of the overall generosity). These stats are very consistent with other campaign results which continues to remind me of 2 things. 1. Generosity has to be made easy. 2. Giving consumers choice is super important and aligned to generosity.

Hello, and welcome! At Neuro-Things we believe in equity, inclusion, and that everyone deserves to have a voice! We are striving to become non-profit, but it is a process that takes time. For now any money earned goes back into sensory kits for our local community. We will always stive to be able to give some of the kits away for free locally, but we are asking for cost of the items in the kit and help fund kits for those who can’t afford it. If we need to ship the kits we will ask for shipping costs. Donations appreciated too, so we can build as many kits as possible. We create various kits for Neuro divergent people of all ages, or anyone who could use some help regulating their nervous system. Imagine how many lives could be saved if all police officers carried sensory kits to help regulate the nervous system. Our goal is to have sensory kits in all doctor's offices, hospitals, schools, as well as any and all businesses that humans frequent. Together let's put an end to undue violence by ensuring everyone is able to regulate their nervous system. People who experience a disability or who are neurodivergent endure violence at a higher rate due to miscommunication and misunderstanding when confronted with people they are unfamiliar with. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their community!

Over years since co-founding Path Youth Organisation, I have learnt alot that about leadership, especially as a young person leading fellow young people. As a young person leading a team of young people, I've learnt it's important to understand that leadership is not about age, but rather about the ability to inspire and motivate others. Being a young leader can be challenging, but it can also be incredibly rewarding. One of the most important things that I've always kept in mind when leading this team of young people is to lead by example. This means being a role model for your team, setting a positive tone, and demonstrating the behaviors and values that you expect from your team members. Another key aspect of leading a team of young people that I've gained is to be a good listener. Young people have unique perspectives and ideas, and it's important to create an environment where they feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and opinions. By listening to my team members, I gain valuable insights and ideas that can help you make better decisions and achieve your goals. Finally, it's important to be flexible and adaptable as a young leader. Young people are often full of energy and creativity, and they may have different ways of approaching problems or tasks. By being open to new ideas and approaches, I create a more dynamic and innovative team that is better equipped to tackle challenges and achieve success. I am happy to and glad to be leading Path Youth Organisation.

Congratulations Dr. Stacie Waites on having her article titled "Teach a Man to Fish: The Use of Autonomous Aid in Eliciting Donations" published! Article Summary: Conventional wisdom says that if you give a person a fish you can feed them for a day, but if you teach them to fish you can feed them for a lifetime. However, most nonprofits tend to describe their work in a more immediate way (giving a fish) instead of how they can help aid recipients work toward autonomy (teaching them to fish). This research explores an alternative positioning strategy focused on the use of autonomous aid appeals, which promote the use of donated funds to facilitate the eventual self-sufficiency of those in need. Working with a regional non-profit we show that this singular change to the non-profit’s messaging increased donations by over 400%. This effect is further investigated in 6 studies, all suggesting the profound effect of autonomous aid messaging over immediate aid messaging in various donation contexts.
