Another summer adventure for the Persol team – Our return to the Wheels and Waves festival in Biarritz, France! This amazing festival is truly one of a kind: a blend of motorsport, surfing, skating, art, music and more, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Basque coast. We first took part in the event in 2022 and were eager to return for this year’s edition to see some of our favorite events and see what was new for 2023! In our Persol van, we bought a few pairs of Persols that we felt embodied the spirit of the event: styles for adventurers inspired by racing and motorsports, like our new 3310S model, aka Jean sunglasses. From May 15th to May 24th, we celebrated the iconic SS24 collection and the influential cinematic legacy of Persol. The event was a stunning tribute to our heritage, featuring meticulously crafted frames with signature accents and premium Barberini®️ lenses, all exuding effortless charisma. Guests from the world of cinema joined us for ten unforgettable days, enriched by the culinary artistry of triple Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco. On November 21st in London, Persol collaborated with Port's Editor-in-Chief, Dan Crowe, to celebrate Issue 33 of PORT Magazine alongside the captivating cover star, Jasmine Jobson. Her outstanding performance in Top Boy garnered praise from critics, fans, and earned her prestigious award nominations. The refined ambiance of George Mayfair served as the perfect backdrop for intimate dinner conversations about style and creativity, featuring notable talents such as Weruche Opia and Pearl Mackie. Following the dinner, the festivities seamlessly transitioned to Hound Bar Mayfair, where libations flowed, and the dance floor beckoned.
