This week’s #ThrowbackThursday is The First Generation Ford F-Series or Ford F1 pickup. In 1948, US industries were booming, and with it came a boom in innovative truck design. Ford wanted to make pickup trucks not just for farmers, but accessible to anyone who needed a utility vehicle with daily driver comforts. This is when the F-Series changed the way people looked at and used the pickup truck. The first generation of the Ford F-Series were produced between 1948 and 1952, producing the 1/2 ton pickup and panel truck to the F-8 "Big Job" commercial truck. By 2021 Ford was in their 14th generation of pickups. Today we have just received a custom-made chassis for a new project! It is a 10x8 Truck, 16R20 wheels, rear axle steerable, 15m long, and we are planning to build a special unit on top of it. Can you guess what unit it will be? Write down your thoughts in the comment section.
