Police Federation of England and Wales’ Post

PC Chloe Chapman from Dorset Police, who has waived her right to anonymity, remained focused on detaining an aggressive man causing chaos and fear, despite him sexually assaulting her. She is nominated for the national #PoliceBravery Awards taking place in just two weeks 👮♀️👮♂️ Dorset Police Federation Chair James Dimmack said: “PC Chapman suffered a disgusting and highly personal attack. Despite this violation she remained focused on the job at hand and principally keeping people safe with no thought for her own safety. “It is unthinkable for most to be confronted by this sort of situation and most would simply not be able to perform in the way PC Chapman has. I am incredibly proud of her and the way she represents Dorset Police.” 👉 https://lnkd.in/eUwSVrSP Sponsored by Police Mutual.

So sad to be placed in such a vulnerable situation as a police officer. Hopefully it won’t affect you life moving forward. You are a very brave individual 👍

Fantastic piece of policing and clearly PC Chapman went above and beyond to arrest a dangerous and violent criminal intent on causing chaos to the everyday members of the public. Wonderful example of bravery whilst being seriously assaulted herself. Top work Chloe!

I’m so glad Chloe has been recognised for her bravery, she is an exceptional officer and a real assset to Dorset Police. It’s unbelievable that she had to deal with this situation whilst on duty - outstanding work! 👏
