For those who haven't read it, the concept is all about breaking down annual goals into 12-week segments to create a sense of urgency and focus and can apply to professional and personal life. Why can 12-week planning be more effective? 💡 Increased Focus and Accountability: Shorter time frames and regular check-ins ensure concentrated efforts on essential tasks and make it easier to stay on course and adapt as necessary. 💡 Breaking Goals into Action Plans: Transforming larger goals into manageable action plans ensures consistent progress and clarity on next steps. 💡 Strategic Time Management: Allocating specific periods for strategic planning and reflection helps maintain alignment with long-term objectives while enhancing motivation and drive to accomplish. Having an annual planning process is an investment of time, but the sense of clarity and vision I get in return is absolutely worth it! These are my "Must Haves" for planning out 2024: *Get closure on 2023 - Review, reflect, learn, let go. *Get your intuition flowing - Open up to possibilities with a brainstorming & dreamcasting session. *Get clear on your goals - Be realistic & boil it down. *Use sprints - 12 week manageable chunks to increase focus. *Make breathing space non-negotiable - Time to rest, refresh, think, & plan. *Don’t forget to plan your LIFE - Plan your business around your big life moments - vacation, birthdays, holidays. *Map out your campaigns & launches - Plan your cadence of how you rollout to the marketplace considering seasons, practical considerations & your own life rhythms. *Plan business operations improvements - Become more efficient each year. *Wrap it all up - Make it clear & pretty - put it somewhere you’ll see it often to keep you motivated. Share with your team. Then map out the details in a project management tool like Clickup. p.s. Don't forget to celebrate and get excited!
