"If you judge people, you have no time to love them," profoundly shape my approach In social work , it's crucial to look beyond surface-level behaviors and circumstances to understand the deeper issues individuals face. Judgment creates barriers, while love and empathy open doors to genuine connection and trust. By embracing a non-judgmental stance, I can truly listen to and support those in need, fostering an environment where they feel valued and understood. This compassionate approach enables me to help individuals heal, grow, and transform their lives, embodying the true spirit of social work.

We're entering into a Jubilee year. It’s important to turn to Jesus and make Him our Perpetual Jubilee deep in our souls, so that we can honor and glorify Him in the earth and experience the blessings of Abraham that are bigger in front of us than anything behind. The earliest recorded festivities in honor of a new year's arrival date back some 4,000 years to ancient Babylon. For the Babylonians, the first new moon following the vernal equinox—the day in late March with an equal amount of sunlight and darkness—heralded the start of a new year. The early Roman calendar consisted of 10 months and 304 days, with each new year beginning at the vernal equinox. According to tradition, it was created by Romulus, the founder of Rome in the eight-century B.C. In 46 B.C, Julius Caesar instituted January 1 as the first day of year, because over the centuries, the calendar fell out of sync with the sun, and to partly honor the month's namesake: Janus, the two-faced Roman god of beginnings. New Year's resolutions also date back to 2000 B.C., with the Babylonians celebrating the New Year with one common resolution of returning borrowed farm equipment to start farming season, which coincided with the vernal equinox. According to recent research, as many as 45% of Americans say they make New Year's resolutions, while only 8% are successful in achieving their goals. How long will your resolutions last? Happy New Year to you and yours and good luck with making your resolutions. May they last longer than then the time it takes to create them.
