This scene introduces the main character, DarMar, as he heads to the interstellar space station called "Reness." This station is a hub where the best R1 drivers from across the universe are trained for upcoming R1 races. It's also a place where all the human space system soldiers gather. The space system has been deeply divided since the devastating war between Mars and Earth. Though these systems harbor resentment towards each other, they are economically interdependent due to limited resources. Despite their desire for separation, they must coexist on "Reness." This forced mingling leads to conflicts and unexpected alliances. Here, DarMar encounters a variety of people—some good, some bad, but never boring. This unique setting prompts him to question his purpose and the direction of his life, challenging many preconceived notions shaped by his birthplace. In a parallel to my own life, "Reness" is inspired by the Renaissance, a famous art movement in Italy. I studied in Milan and later worked in Turin. My experiences in Italy, particularly meeting people from the former Yugoslavia, who turned out to be more like me than I had imagined, influenced this story. The Yugoslav War is symbolically represented by the conflict between Mars and Earth.
