My contribution to this project for Omega Seiki Mobility was to direct and edit the video. The purpose of the video was to highlight the advantages of using an electric vehicle (EV) over an internal combustion engine (ICE) or compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle, including a lower carbon footprint, improved driving quality, and a cleaner environment.

In the last 3.5 years, our experts for Functional Coatings have carried out challenging studies by working within a #horizon2020 project designated BAT4EVER EU Project and titled “Autonomous #Polymer based Self-Healing Components for high performant LIBs”. 🔋🔋 On January 31st, 2024 at #VUB in #Brussels, the #BAT4EVER consortium came together with their sister project HIDDEN Project under the umbrella of BATTERY 2030+ initiative and proudly presented their latest results gained throughout these two projects. The joint final event was called "Self-Healing Batteries: Where are we today?". It covered the technical/scientific issues around the introduction of self-healing phenomenon into Li-based batteries and also evaluated the future of this technology in the context of #batteries. Outstanding #speakers shared their expertise on the latest developments in materials for self-healing batteries, #prototyping, modelling, manufacturing and testing in both projects. The event has concluded with a round table discussion on the usage and challenges of self-healing batteries in #industrial applications. How much do we know about Nox Sensor?   A NOx (nitrogen oxide) sensor in a car is an important component of the vehicle's emissions control system. It is responsible for monitoring and measuring the level of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gases produced by the engine. The main purpose of the NOx sensor is to help the car's engine control unit (ECU) adjust the air-fuel mixture and ignition timing to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions and meet emissions standards.   It is an important component of the NOx reduction aftertreatment system used in diesel vehicles with urea-based selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems. The sensor enables compliance with the strict emission values from the Euro 5 standard. Thus, the NOx sensor ensures an optimal dosage of AdBlue by the engine system and thus an effective reduction of environmentally harmful nitrogen oxides.   If the SCR system has an upstream and downstream NOx sensor, the downstream sensor has the task of monitoring the effect of the SCR catalytic converter.   #hella #forvia #automotive #emissioncontrol #greenair #ecofriendlydriving #carcare #carworkshop
