The locally manufactured Corolla Cross 1.8 XR claimed the Compact Family Car category, while the iconic GR Yaris dominated the Performance Car group. The #CarsAwards, a benchmark in South Africa's automotive scene, judges finalists based on distinct categories, with 50% of scores derived from brand-specific data and customer feedback. This victory further cements Toyota's legacy at the Cars.co.za Consumer Awards, having previously won the Brand of the Year title in 2015/16, 2018/19, and 2020/21. Nissan keeps top spot for second year in J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Customer Service Index (CSI) Study For the second consecutive year, Nissan has been named No. 1 in satisfaction among truck brands in dealership service in the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Customer Service Index (CSI) Study. Scoring 873 out of a possible 1,000 points, Nissan ranked highest among truck brands, beating the segment average by 30 points. Now in its 44th year, the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Customer Service Index (CSI) Study measures satisfaction with service at franchised dealer or aftermarket service facilities for maintenance or repair work among owners and lessees of one- to three-year-old vehicles. The study is based on responses from nearly 65,000 owners and lessees of model-year 2021-2023 vehicles. A month or two ago, I walked back to my car in a parking lot only to find out my tire had been slashed… While having to change my tire was not a fun experience, it reminded me of my work. You need to expect the unexpected in both life and CX. When sudden challenges arise in the customer experience, we need to be resilient and have contingency plans in place. Even if you think a specific problem is unlikely to happen – like getting your tire slashed in super-safe Switzerland – you need to be prepared for it anyway. Just completed an exciting consultancy project with Mercedes Benz! 🚗💼 We developed a comprehensive Customer Journey Map, tailored specifically for Mercedes Benz. This map was divided into four main stages: Awareness, Interest/Consideration, Purchase, and Post-Purchase. In the Awareness Stage, we focused on brand marketing campaigns, online and offline advertisements, and enhancing social media presence. During the Interest/Consideration Stage, we provided detailed product information, helped customers compare models and features, and offered insights into exploring financing options. The Purchase Stage encompassed visiting the dealership, test driving, and negotiating price and financing. Finally, the Post-Purchase Stage covered vehicle delivery and handover, customer support and service, and encouraged feedback and reviews from customers. This project has been a fantastic opportunity to enhance customer experiences and drive business improvements for Mercedes Benz.
