World Mental Health Day! Mental Health is one of Phosters (FM) Ltd key priorities as we are firm believers that taking care of our employee’s mental health is just as important as physical health. We have implemented several initiatives to support and engage our employees in the workplace: Communication: We encourage open and honest conversations about mental health, and feel it is important to engage in key events such as themes like ‘World Mental Health Day’. Resources and Support: Earlier this year, we have invested in an Employee Assistance Programme, where our employees have access to trained professionals. Our aim is to give our employees the support they need. Training: We have a variety of staff from all levels across the organisation trained as Mental Health First Aiders, as well as a designated team of Champions. All managers have to undertake mental health training with the aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment. How it started, how it went and how it ended… £11.5k raised for Macmillan Cancer Support 💥 24 members of Team Phosters took on the Mighty Hike challenge through the Wye Valley on Saturday, to put our best foot forward for everyone affected by cancer. Although physically demanding, we were motivated by the strength & resilience shown by those we were hiking for, and the phenomenal support and sponsorship received over the last few months. It was a day that showcased TeamPhosters at its finest ❤.
