This position is mainly responsible for managing the utilities, facilities, and infrastructure. This includes overseeing CAPEX projects related to these areas and handling all services associated with the site. The role also ensures legal compliance and regulatory standards are met for utility equipment and factory facilities, and manages the asset insurance program. Additionally, this role is responsible for the engineering spare parts inventory, ensuring that stock levels are efficient and available when needed. Beyond these duties, the Site Support Manager leads the "Sustainability in a Generation" (SiG) initiative at the PCH site, aligning it with the goals and plans of the regional SiG community. In early April, I had the opportunity to visit Malaysia for Recruiting with Excellence (RWE) training. It proved to be an outstanding chance for the TA THA team to strengthen connections, foster collaboration, and ignite energy towards our common objectives. The journey itself created an environment conducive to bonding among team members. These experiences allowed me to build personal connections with SEA and China P&O team. During the training sessions, collaboration was at the forefront. Learning alongside with professionals in the area provided useful insights and perspectives. Through group exercises and interactive workshops, we were able to leverage each other's strengths and collectively enhance our recruitment strategies & process. This collaborative approach strengthened the cohesion within our team. From refining our interviewing techniques to mastering the art & science of candidate assessment, China team good practices has positioned me to think twice and would adopt some for-TA THA team. Thanks to the SEA P&O team for their warm hospitality.
