This year, as we observe Mental Health Week, we are turning our attention to the mental health challenges prevalent in the construction industry. The construction industry faces a significant mental health crisis, with 89% of workers being men. Research shows that men are generally less likely to seek appropriate mental health treatment, placing them at a higher risk for mental health issues. It's essential to acknowledge that negative mental health not only impacts men but also women within the construction industry. At Plan Group, the mental well-being of our employees is of utmost importance. We are committed to ensuring that our employees have access to the mental health resources they need. As part of this commitment, we are proud to offer mental health coverage and a free, confidential employee and family assistance program. Our goal is to provide support and resources that prioritize the mental wellness of all our employees.

This is great news, it is so important that employees and their families receive support during times of declining mental health. I am so pleased to add that I have had the pleasure to facilitate Several Mental Health First Aid Workshops for their employees with the goal to raise awareness, minimize stigma and learn how to approach, assess and support individuals with declining mental health.
