Equatorial Launch Australia signs multi-launch contract with INNOSPACE to conduct orbital launches from the Arnhem Space Centre. The agreement will see the launch of several INNOSPACE rocket variants each carrying between 50kg and 500kg payloads into low earth orbit from early 2025. @Equatorial Launch Australia (ELA) is widely regarded as the most advanced multi-user commercial spaceport in the world with investment from PASPALIS Innovation Investment Fund since 2019. Additionally, the Korean launch company, INNOSPACE, is the only hybrid-fuelled rocket company worldwide to have successfully launched into space. The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that SpaceX has signed an agreement with the European Space Agency (ESA) for two Falcon 9 launches in 2024 to carry two "Galileo" navigation satellites each. The deal still needs to be approval from the European Commission and the EU member States.   This approval is expected to occur by the end of the year. The ESA preferred to have used the Arlane-6 or Vega-C… the European manufactured rocket but they have been long delayed. While this is the first time SpaceX will launch European satellites that contain classified equipment, it is not the first time SpaceX has launched something for the ESA.   It looks like we are well into the Space Race now! The round is led by HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds and backed by co-investments of First Momentum Ventures and Possible Ventures. 💸🚀 The funding will be used to further develop the propulsion technology, achieve qualification for space flight and serve initial customers. ISPTech's technology will be used on the first flights at the end of 2025.
