Thanks to everyone who attended our Wealthtech Panel at the Houlihan Lokey Global Tech Conference today. In particular our Panellists Stephen Harper, Simon Merchant, Zlatko Vucetic, Roger Portnoy and Jonathan Watts-Lay. The conversation around "Are Wealth Managers Keeping Pace With Technology?" showed to me that there is a big prize available for both wealth managers and technology providers over the coming years and technology can be a huge differentiator in the sector. Themes discussed included: the amazing amount of paper still used in the industry (!), the historically clunky nature of reporting and how to reduce complexity, how to achieve operational efficiencies, pricing transparency, using technology to aid organic growth, how cash management tools like Flagstone can be an enabler to organic growth, the use of private markets/alternatives in the sector and using technology to access investors earlier in their investment journey. #wealthtech #wealthmanagement #fintech #artificialintelligence Presenting companies: Infront, Objectway, WEALTH at work, Flagstone, Attivo
