The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) obligates all large and listed companies to share information on how they monitor a wide range of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues and their impact on our planet. As many organisations move towards becoming ESG compliant, it is important to set standards and regulatory frameworks that will address the issue of Green Washing. This will go a long way in ensuring that organizations enjoy full benefits for the efforts that they put forward and ultimately drive the transition from Green Washing to Green Valuation. Standardization and regulations will boost confidence in investors as they will be empowered to make better investment decisions. This is also the best way to protect vested capital and secure new capital. As there are a lot of International Standards/Initiatives released, such as Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI), SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standard Board), SBT (Science Based Target), TCFD (Climate Changed), TNFD (Biodiversity)…etc, which are including Environment, Society, Governance. - if a company want to gain more business, they need to follow international standards/initiatives and country’s policy. I believe that no one can ignore this topic, and everyone must to focus this topic. #sustainability
