New year, new start for me - this is my first week of a new chapter working at The Circle Line, a company that helps teams and employees to thrive via 1-to-1 therapy, group training and e-learning.  Having experienced the profoundly positive benefits of therapy myself, and completed a Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2020, this role feels like the perfect meeting point of my commercial experience and my passion for psychology. I firmly believe that the more we understand about ourselves and others, the better we are able to navigate our work and personal lives; and that the more comfortable we are being authentic, the more successful our relationships become, both at work and outside it.    Progressive leaders agree: that the mental wellbeing of their people has a direct impact on business performance. Actively engaging with mental health, improving team dynamics, and proudly providing therapy to everyone in your team is the key to creating meaningful and sustainable positive shifts in mindset and therefore business performance.  People are your most valuable asset. Hey Polly, glad to see organisations such as these, there's a great need for mental health support for employees and even company leaders. Not everyone is comfortable speaking about their mental health, which impacts people's performance at work and personal lives, so it's good to get the conversation going.

Hey, congrats that sounds amazing! Absolutely agree that by getting to know each other as people, relationships grow and working together becomes better. We start every meeting with a check in for example, where we share what's on our mind and how we truly feel that day.

Hello Polly, I agree that the more we understand ourselves the better. I like the statement that says “it takes a lifetime to become fully confused about who we are!” At least we are trying to find out!
