Looking forward to speaking at the AgriNext Conference later this year in Dubai. I’ll share more about the opportunities and challenges facing the agtech industry, and specifically how Inari is uniquely positioned to help ensure food security for a growing global population, while better caring for our planet and improving farmer well-being through economically sustainable solutions. 

I’m grateful to work alongside our wheat collaborators InterGrain and Tress Walmsley to meaningfully address food security, climate change and farm profitability. Today is Earth Day, a day dedicated to protecting our environment.    This is something we think about daily at Inari: What can we do today to ensure that our planet can continue to provide for many generations to come?     As our team works tirelessly to find a solution using major technological advances in A.I., genomics and gene editing, I am continuously amazed at the progress we’ve made, giving me tremendous hope for our ability to support a better tomorrow.    I invite you to read my colleague and Inari Head of Sustainability Jamie Saxon’s Earth Day message in Agri-Pulse Communications, which beautifully captures this sentiment. Sharing insights with and learning from my industry partners about agriculture innovation always leaves me feeling energized. It’s hard to believe it’s already been two years since we announced our collaboration with InterGrain to dramatically improve the yield potential of wheat. Working together is both invigorating and rewarding.   It was wonderful to take a few minutes for the Inari blog to reflect with InterGrain CEO Tress Walmsley on the role of gene editing in wheat and discuss not only what we’ve already accomplished together, but consider what this collaboration is capable of. It's been an incredibly warm welcome to Australia. Thank you AgriFutures evokeAG for facilitating such a thought-provoking session. We are only beginning to uncover the power of AI, but we know the potential is vast – and in the case of agriculture, vastly important. It was a lively discussion with my co-panelists, Nicolás Martelli, Abi Ramanan, Dr. Thijs van Leeuwen and Nina Schick, whose insights I will certainly take home with me. #evokeAg

I'm honored to take part in these two upcoming conversations with AgriFutures evokeAG and Grains Research and Development Corporation. Inari's SEEDesign™ platform has the potential to solve the critical issues of food security and sustainability - the opportunity to share this work energizes me to keep striving toward our goals. 

I’m excited to share that Inari has successfully raised $103 million to help further advance our proven SEEDesign™ platform and fuel commercialization of higher-yielding seeds that require fewer resources.    Inari exists to address the challenges of food security and climate change by bringing nature-positive outcomes to agriculture.
