Would you drive a car with a punctured exhaust? The following is the sound of a vehicle with a punctured exhaust system likely due a leaking manifold which results in reduced power and increased fuel consumption. For many of us that would mean an immediate trip to the garage to have the issue resolved mainly because the noise would have a negative impact on our personal image. The same kind of noise is what you hear when you walk into your data centre and hear the servers screaming which is likely due to gaps in the racks resulting in reduced cooling effect of your servers.. To fix the issue all you need to do is install blanking panels to stop cool air from escaping without passing through your servers, the gaps also causing hot exhaust air from the back of your servers to circulate to the front thus raising the temperature of the air getting into the servers.
