I recently observed that this post garnered attention, and it's worth noting that I possess an intermediate proficiency in the Indonesian language. Despite being born in Indonesia, I recognize my limitations in fully grasping its nuances—perhaps an ironic twist of fate in my design. The post in question, "Gak Percaya dengan Kemampuan diri sendiri," translates to "Lacking Confidence in One's Abilities." While this sentiment may resonate with many, it does not align with my personal beliefs. My track record, supported by empirical evidence, demonstrates a disparity in achievements compared to my peers. Regrettably, I find myself in a situation where I am not gainfully employed, a scenario that challenges conventional success metrics, especially on professional platforms like LinkedIn. It's essential to strike a balance between confidence and humility, especially considering the pitfalls of overconfidence, as highlighted by the Dunning-Kruger effect. That said, I invite constructive discourse on this matter. Engage with me, challenge my perspectives, and let's delve deeper into this topic.
