In #Lithuania about 40% of companies are family businesses and a big majority (probably over 70%) of them are still in the hands of the first generation. Situation in #Latvia and #Estonia is quite similar. If we manage to develop governance and succession planning in the Baltic family businesses, this will have a big positive impact on resilience and growth of the Baltic economies🇱🇹🇱🇻🇪🇪🚀 At Baltic Family Firm Institute’s annual conference my colleague Jurgita Karvelė and I spoke about the trends with family governance in Baltics and how to avoid disputes in family businesses. Language plays a key role in exploring the wisdom, traditions, and stories of communities and people around the world.
