Looks like a serious infestation. Put on your AI masks.

would be less crowded if it was only AI-native/AI-only observability :-)

True Pramod Gosavi. Does anyone really care about pay to play research & market maps?

Databricks is a surprise. Maybe that’s where the consolidation is headed.

Most amazingly, none of them are true observability! All of them are just monitoring.

Wow. That's a broad (and confusing) mix. LLM guardrails like Nemo/Arthur and Prometheus? Observability heavily overlaps security. Imagine all the AI security solutions on top of this!

It’s crowded because everybody, no matter what space they’re in, wants to add Gen AI to their roadmap so that their valuation increases, whether or not Gen AI actually fits their product category or not.

Some of these are existing IT serviceability companies. They will certainly play a role, as they are already in place. However, given how complex AI systems can be, specially for training, there likely will be a new breed of vendors that have the specialized expertise.

the more if-then-else logic in your code the higher you get in the graph 😁
