Securing a position at Adani Cement within the Adani Group was a journey of hardwork. 😄🙋 My approach involved sending personalized invites to various Adani Group professionals, including HR, managers, directors, and industrial trainees.🍁 After some persistence, a connection was established, leading to a discussion about my professional journey, followed by the submission of my resume.✌️ The interview process comprised three rounds: ✅️ 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 (𝐇𝐑): The HR team asked me about my background, motivations for wanting to work at Adani Group, past experiences, and my field-specific interests. ✅️ 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: This stage involved an in-depth exploration of my articleship experience, reasons for transitioning from EY to pursuing industrial opportunities elsewhere, and practical scenarios such as suggesting cost control measures in the manufacturing industry. Behavioral questions were also part of this engaging round. ✅️ 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫/𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝: Beginning with introductions, this round covered my overall experience, the ability to estimate revenue for a specific Adani Group segment, considerations for automating a process, and conducting a cost-benefit analysis for a product. Technical aspects were discussed in detail. Deeply grateful and proud to be partnering ‘Aarambh’, a one-year Program for the #GETs (Graduate Engineer Trainee) with Tata Chemicals. BlueSky Learning Learning helps drive the Importance of the #HumanElement among the young graduates, as they embark on a career journey. This is my sixth year of facilitating the workshop. The first two days were well spent, with the new in-coming GETs stepping into their ‘Karma Bhoomi’. Coming together to know each other, the group collectively identified how they understand human skills of # Trust, Ownership, Communication, Innovation and Collaboration to develop into Professionals. The high point of the engagement was the visit to Dwarka, the nearby temple town, where the teams mingled with the local crowds to understand the relationship between the company and the community. This immersive trip also enabled them to experience the Tata Chemicals initiatives for the surrounding areas. At end of activity, they understood the true meaning of “Brand Custodianship”. The week concluded on a high note, with the outgoing batch fully prepared to take on the tough battles of work life, deep diving into understanding the human skills needed for people management. The work, projects and learnings of this one-year program will be taken to the next level as they lead teams and shifts at the Company plants. Carrying forward the newly gained human skills of Empathy, Ownership, Delegation, Creativity and Collaboration for self and the teams to nurture people and enable success for Tata Chemicals. This rigorous and comprehensive one-year program co-created with Bluesky Learning helps each of them land confidently as Assistant Managers in their new workplace. 🌟 Dear Connection, I am feeling happy to share that I have completed my 4 weeks Human Resource internship in MP&R (Manpower and Recruitment) division at Bharat Coking Coal Limited ! 🎉 I would like to thank my mentors Miss Sweta Subhashini and Mr. Neeraj Kumar Mishra for guiding me in this journey. 🙏✨ The key learnings I gained: I. 📊 Organization Structure - BCCL (Coal India) follows a strong hierarchical structure with four directors and CMD. II. 🏢 Recruitment - Statutory posts like Overman and Mining Sirdar are recruited based on violations/notifications raised by DGMS to BCCL. Management trainees are directly hired from CIL HQ. A panel chaired by GM (Rescue & Safety) monitors recruitment. III. 📚 Training & Development - Coal India operates 26 training centers across subsidiaries, categorizing training into:   a. ⚙️ Technical Training - Focus on technology through basic, refresher, and specialized courses.   b. 📈 Management Training - Focus on executives from E1 to E5 and M1 to M3 levels at Indian Institute of Coal Management, Ranchi.   c. 🔄 Transformation Training - Oriented towards employees transitioning to semi-mechanized mines.   d. 🛠️ General Development Training - Conducted by subsidiaries to enhance employee productivity. IV. 💻 HRIS & IT - Understanding Coal India's HRMS and MIS:   a. 📊 SAP - Coal India uses SAP as their ERP software.   b. 🗂️ Modules include Human Capital Management (HCM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Production and Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), Project System (PS), Material Management (MM), and Finance & Control (FICO).   c. 🤝 Phase-1 implemented with Tech Mahindra, Phase-2 with Accenture. Overall, it was a very enriching experience where I got to understand how Coal India's HR ecosystem works. 🌍✨

When you see your family struggle, what do you do? Step back, no right? Neither could I. Baba had a bad habit which soon turned into addiction – Alcohol. The drinking problem led to quite a precarious financial situation however he had paid his dues over the years. But somebody had to don the cloak of responsibility at that time, so I did. I took the responsibility of taking care of my elder sister as well as younger brother. Now my sister has finished her MSc and is happily married. My younger brother has finished ITI course and is apprenticing at ONGC. Everyone seems on the path of being completely settled. You might be thinking, well what about you, right? I have come a long way from being an Electrician learner at ITI to MST at Tata STRIVE- L&T Training Centre Vizag and beyond. I have provided all the luxury for my family. I took loan to get my sister married and that went smoothly. And I met the love of my life and got married recently too, all on my own. My dream is to complete engineering degree that will enable me to get even better opportunities. I have studied hard for a secure Government job and now that I have it, I am going to ensure that I won’t leave any opportunity to study, learn and get promoted rapidly. I am interested in fashion designing too! If I find a way to gain some expertise and experience in that sector, I will use that opportunity too.
