This is pretty interesting. Truth to tell, I color my hair, and always think that when I stop working I will let it go gray. How do you feel about this topic? Have you let your hair go gray? Why or why not? Please comment or like this post.

Many will argue that brands who spend any time on focusing on marginalised groups are either placating to said group by being too “woke”, or are further causing a racial divide. I beg to differ! Understanding that the global majority are typically non white, to me, means that said brand are engaged with how the world is expanding past seeing only a white market as the only viable spending market. Engaging with communities that have historically and typically been ignored by brands, even though many of these groups have actively spent large portions of their money with major brands, makes complete sense to me. Creating a product designed to further encourage a specific group to not only to continue to spend with them, but to produce a product that will assist them in making their lifestyle easier. So impressed by this for so many reasons, but the one that tops them all for me with my UX hat on is the demonstration of actionable insights. If you’re not sold on the purpose and value of customer/user research, this is it. What could possibly be more powerful than letting your customer tell you exactly what they need and delivering a solution! *Especially* when it's driving representation. This applies across both physical and digital products and services, whether you’re designing for your customer or your own employees. If you’re sold on the value but it’s the execution you’re not so sure about…whether that be embedding insight into product strategy or service design or how to enhance features functions and touchpoints informed by research, give me a shout! How do I grow out my gray hair, if I’ve been coloring for years? I get this question daily. Here is how I can help you. The first step is to lighten. Even if you still want to cover all your gray, we still need to lighten your ends. I recommend doing a full highlight with your base color to start. Next, we will continue to lighten the base little by little at your 4-6 week appointment. After 2 touch ups, we will do another highlight.
