Heritage, Health & Hospitals: A History of Ideas Come and ASCHB on the 18th April for a day of talks from a wide range of wonderful speakers, culminating in what should be another remarkable plenary session. You can find full details of how to sign up at https://lnkd.in/ebvfTcY9 As with so many aspects of our lives, healthcare changed radically as a result of the Industrial Revolution and The Enlightenment. Some changes were of immense value, but others had unfortunate consequences. ASCHB2024 turns the microscope onto the healthcare and the historic environment, examining the impacts of science and fashion on hospitals and other healthcare settings, and asking: what are we doing right, and where have we gone off the rails? How can we extract the best ideas from the whole history of healthcare in the built environment, to construct a better and healthier future?

Roundtable No°2 | 2024 - Together for innovation: Participatory implementation for a digital healthcare system At the second Patient Monitoring Roundtable 2024, we have set ourselves a lot of goals under the promising motto "Together for innovation: Participatory implementation for a digital healthcare system". At a time when the digitalisation of the healthcare system is progressing rapidly, a particularly large number of committed participants came together this time to discuss new solutions through participatory implementation. In the first half, keynotes by special guest Sarah Weschke from the Berlin Institute of Health and Alessia Nowak and PD Dr Akira Poncette from Charité's Institute of Medical Informatics laid the foundation for an in-depth discussion. Specific challenges and opportunities of digitalisation in the healthcare sector were then discussed in small groups. The results offer a variety of insights, concerns and positive outlooks. Find the full blogpost on our website: https://lnkd.in/eMB2vpy6 _____________________________________________________________ The Patient Monitoring Roundtable is organized and conducted by INCH e.V. (Initiative for Innovation and Collaboration in Healthcare e.V.) in cooperation with the Institute for Medical Informatics of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. #digitalhealth #patientmonitoring #patientmonitoringroundtable

Our team wrapped up an incredible week at the 2023 HLTH conference last week in Vegas! We enjoyed connecting with old and new friends, learning, and collaborating with one another. A few key takeaways that stuck with us: 1. Embrace the noise – progress often comes with chaos, but learning to thrive in it is crucial. 2. More and more unique partnerships are being launched to address the healthcare challenges that haven’t gone away; transformative relationships are readily available for providers if the fit is right. 🤝 3. In this digital age, data is STILL the “Gold Standard,” and its' availability and responsible use will shape our industry. 💡 4. The healthcare sector hasn’t moved much from the position of “in the midst” of our digital revolution, placing even more emphasis on the value of disruptive technologies. 📱 We are inspired by the energy and commitment at HLTH and can’t wait to see how these insights translate into tangible progress in our industry. Stay tuned! 💪 John Perez Kerra Courtney Bo Wilkes #HLTH2023 #HealthcareInnovation #CVC

Generative AI, the "state of the industry," and corporate venture capital. Healthcare continues to change - some fast and some slow. Players from across the industry partnering with companies joining from other sectors. Change and disruption surround us in a time of financial strain. 😯 Some might seem "doom and gloom." ⛈ Others opportunity. I, for one, am inspired. I was struck by the conversations with venture capital and corporate venture capital. Although it feels like a bear market, opportunities abound. Strong research providing a foundation for growth, coupled with good process and insight, can open doors and transform the industry. ❕ ❗ Excited to follow-up with many and keep the conversation going. #HLTH #transformation #innovationinhealthcare #healthcareinnovation
